Final Project - The Last Transition

It was 4 years since I first met Eric during our freshman year in IDM. We've cooperated on several projects for our ideation & prototyping class and we haven't worked on the same project ever since then. So this time we reached out to each other and we both agreed on doing something cool for the last chance since Eric is graduating this semester.

For our final project, we want to make something related to data moshing transition since it is something we are all interested in. Hence, we would maximize our personal abilities, cinematography for me, and virtual production for Eric, and we want to play with absurdity and misdirection. The story is basically about Eric, a tiktok lover, who uploads data moshing videos regularly and fell into a horrible loop. One day he finds he's phone went wrong and he was sucked into a virtual realm where a data-moshing monster data moshed him and became him. Then the story goes back to another real-world Eric, who is being data moshed by the virtual Eric into the virtual world.

We met several times before doing everything, for the first meeting we discussed the plot and the theme, second meeting we've drawn all the story boards. And it tooks us a week and a half to have everything done. Here are some process screenshots.
